We're almost ready!!

Opening day will be MAY 21ST, just in time for !!

To celebrate we're hosting 's third annual Pitch Battle!

Pitch a short story idea to our panel of judges for a chance to win publication in our next fiction anthology.

Everyone is welcome to pitch, audience participation is encouraged, and judges are quite open to bribery.

During the day - and probably late into the evening too, we will be opening the bookstore for the first time!

Ta da!!! Happy Canadian Independent Bookstore Day!!

We thought today was the perfect day for our Big Announcement:

We are opening a new bookstore!!!

New name, new focus, same indie bookstore vibe.

Still in Cathedral, but now at 2926 13th Avenue.

We're developing into a bookshop as well as an indie publisher, so we will be selling Pete's Press books , some from other Sask publishers and a range of bargain books too!

All things being well, we should be open in time for

Hello friends!!

It's been a long, long, while but we just wanted to pop up and shout about books!!

Well, we still have plenty of them. And we still want to get them into the hands of book lovers.

We aren't promising a new bookstore just yet (!!) but we do have a brand new project to launch very soon!!

In the spirit of indie bookstores, we are launching this project this Saturday, April 26th to celebrate Canadian Independent Bookstore Day.

Today went so well that we're doing it again!!
Back at 's new location at 1819 Cornwall St, Sunday 12-3.
Everything must go! Individual books are either $10 (or $5 for bargain books) OR, Bring a shopping bag and fill it for $50!!
Proceeds go to the Creative City Centre's capital campaign!

Hello again! Great to be back bookselling - if briefly. We have got a whole bunch of bargains here at the new : everything is $10 and there's a table full of $5 books too. Proceeds are going towards getting this fantastic new arts venue off the ground.

A reminder that we're back for one last Book Blitz with this Saturday!

Dec 14th at 10am-4pm, 1819 Cornwall St.

We'll have everything leftover from the bookstore for sale at bargain prices. Proceeds go to the Creative City Centre capital campaign!
