Thank you to everyone that came out to Lakeside Acres & RAPID Standard Barrel Race yesterday to not only support me and the other vendors, and this crew but to cheer on all the barrel racers.

My heart is so full after leaving this event. I met so many amazing people, connected with old friends, made so many new connections and friends. Had great conversations with everyone that stepped foot under my tent.

I can say without a doubt this barrel race event yesterday reminded me why I get up at 4:30 and get home at 9pm on the weekends. It’s the conversations with the everyone, the smiles on people’s faces when they get their bag of goodies, the support of neighbouring vendors, making new friends and connections, and seeing old friends.

Thank you Lakeside Acres for having me! You and the crew organized an amazing event and I can say without a doubt I will be back next year! Never been to an event where there was so much organization from the gentleman at the gate directing everyone to the lady walking around asking the vendors if there was anything we needed or noticed was missing.

Kerrobert rodeo, the rodeo that showed me that Some days it’s your day and some days it’s not your day. And there is good that comes either way.

The wind taught me a lesson on Saturday at a local rodeo that just because you think it’s your day to be set up and play in the wind it’s really not. It gave me the chance to watch my friends compete in the rodeo and a chance to talk/hang out with a amazing fellow woman in business. As much as I wanted to try and fight back with the wind it was a loosing battle just trying to pick up the pieces. Somedays you have to take the loss on the chin, pack up and find a way to enjoy the rest of the day. It’s days like this that make me question why I’m doing this but then I remember that I’m chasing a dream and we all have rough days. So pick up the pieces, crack a beer and remember you’re doing your best.
