End-stage kidney disease has been a battle for me since the age of 13 (currently I am in my mid double digits). I am on hemodialysis and have been waiting for a second transplant for the past 14+ years. During this time I began making cards and dabbling in various art media as a therapeutic way to cope with the effects of this disease. Friends, family and other community members began to request m
y creations, introducing me to the idea of selling my artwork to offset the extra costs associated with my illness and upcoming living expenses in Vancouver when the call comes to receive my “Gift of Life”.
