We’re in the final run-up to Christmas and those seconds are ticking away!

The Argosy will be open Friday, Dec. 19th and Saturday, Dec. 20th from 10 AM to 5 PM.

These will be our last days open in 2025 so be sure to pop by! If you love unique treasures, you’re sure to find something delightful here.

UPDATE: Garland has been reacquired through the magic of the internet and the thief's belated remorse. It looks a little worse for wear now but it's back up and lit again. :)

This picture will be the only way you get to enjoy this festive Christmas greenery, as it was stolen last night a mere eight hours after being hung up.

Yes we’ve reached out to Line and Label. Yes we have reported to the RCMP.

With Java closed for holidays last week, we were able to sink our teeth into the coffeeshop space for a few days. It felt good to give it some love.

Thank you to good friends with strong backs, and to local businesses and contractors coming through for us on a super tight timeline. Richard and I can accomplish a heck of a lot together but this last week was definitely a team effort.

Java is back open today - make sure you stop by!

The Argosy is an ever-evolving space that can look entirely different from one day to the next! It’s the North Coast’s place to go for found and re-purposed items you might not see anywhere else, as well as that unique piece of furniture or a Persian carpet for your floors.

The Argosy opened its doors in the summer of 2013, and is owned by the husband-and-wife team of Frances Riley and Richard Haley. They personally choose every item brought into the store and are proud to make the Argosy a source for everything funky, vintage, and unique!
