This Crafty Bitch has 5 minutes to post...

One of my little chickens got married in June 2022. It takes time to pick the pattern, then fabric then squeeze in the time to cut and sew. It sounds like it should be easy but to dedicate time between the day job that pays the bills, family time, house work (the worst) and a personal promise to only work on it when I am in a positive mood it takes a looong time to actually complete.

Now a new tradition of a handmade quilt upon marriage, Jordann and Jason, I hope you have many years of use from this labor of love.

I do have to say that this was a challenging pattern but I conquered it. Started it on my New Years holidays and thought it would take me at least a year. Colors, patterns and stitches kept changing so I didn’t get bored. Another one that I absolutely love ❤️

Up cycled a cute little toddler chair that came from What’s in Store. It had seen a lot of love prior to its new facelift. It will now get many more years of love in with all my grand-littles when they come to Nana’s. ❤️

Next gift 🎁 down! For my aunt (she’s not on FB). She and my uncle are avid divers she collected t-shirts from some incredible places over the years. Was a crazy challenge but I am super happy with how it turned out. Double sided since I couldn’t choose which ones to use. Side note: I will never make another one of these😖 so she is special ❤️

Since it’s too hot (not complaining) I am reduced to small projects (that will end up big). Sitting with large projects on my lap is not there best idea so I will putter along one at a time. Only 64 more coloured squares to go 😁
