A creation for my granddaughter. She saw a piano skirt on TikTok and asked if I could make her one like it. Up for the challenge, away I went. Here are the pictures of conception, pattern drafting, assembly then the finished skirt front and back.

Christmas present for my 19 yr old grandson. He's a snowboarder and likes the looser pant style. Thank you for the fantastic brushed twill fabric. I just loved sewing this garment!

Runner for my windowsill. Upcycling my husband's old Hawaiian shirts plus an old pair of fleece pyjama pants for the center of each square. 10 × 6" squares of the Pleated Pineapple Block. (10× 15.5 cm squares).

My finished cardigan. I inherited many knitting patterns from my mother. So whenever I need a sweater I just hunt around and find something interesting to knit. What caught my eye in this pattern were the dolman sleeves: I had to try it! Well here is the outcome.

This is a balaclava I designed for my grandson. He sent me a picture of the balaclavas snowboarders wear. I gauged my rib stitch and measured my own head to determine the stitches in the round. Then decided how long the chest cover should be and how wide. Using knitting graft paper I designed a pleasing slope. I closed the round then determined how long the back neck should be and where the eye slit should sit. The hardest part to determine was when to start decreasing for the crown. I started too early, undid that, determined how much more I had to knit and voila...turned out lovely.

Top I made for my daughter-in-law Tiffani. I used the Lutterloh Pattern system. The thing about Lutterloh is that you really have to know what you're doing. On top of making sure that seams that were destined to be sewn together were the same length and squares were actually square, I had to re-draw the sleeves, the collar and the front closure in order to get the same look as the drawing. Why do I use Lutterloh? I think I like the challenge.
