Jane's Pick:
I absolutely loved this book! It’s almost like having Margaret Atwood in the room telling stories. I had intended to just read bits of it while I continued to read other books but once I started I couldn’t stop! Now it will go on my night table to be read a little at a time. So many stories, funny ones, sad ones, intriguing, everyday life in the Atwood family. Some tidbits made me laugh out loud, others made me stop and think and other answered many questions I’d had about her life. She is of the generation when there were few Canadian authors so they all knew each other and that’s very interesting too. This book is truly a piece if Canadian history.
