Plan Your 2026 Summer Sale & Market Visit 🌻

August 14 & 15 is almost here and I want to make sure you are set up for the best visit possible! Here is everything you need to know before you come:

📅 Friday, August 14 | 12pm – 7pm
📅 Saturday, August 15 | 10am – 4pm
📍 Straight & Arrow Boutique — Plamondon, AB

🚗 Parking is limited — carpool with your favourite shopping buddy! Tag them below so you can plan to come together. 👇

🚽 Bathroom situation is... rustic. Plan accordingly before you arrive. 😄

👗 There are only 2 dressing rooms and they move fast. Wear a tank top or thin layers so you can try things on without one — trust me on this one!

💵 Cash is always helpful, but most vendors do accept card.

🏕️ We have tents, picnic tables, and patio furniture set up outside so you can sit, relax, eat, sip, and visit. This is a stay-a-while kind of day.

🐔 NEW this year — a candy dispenser filled with chicken feed for a quarter! Kids can feed the chickens. You are welcome. 😄

🛍️ The vendor market is set up inside the big shop — it's cozy and a little tight in the best possible way. Good things come in small packages!

☔ Rain or shine — we have never let the weather stop us and we are not starting now.

2026 Summer Sale & Market • Vendor Spotlight 🌻

Meet Emarie — our youngest vendor, and honestly one of my favourite parts of this year's market.

Emarie is 11 years old and she is running her own business. Let that sink in for a second. 🤍

Her mom Caytlin has been part of the boutique family since the very beginning — and now here is her daughter, setting up her own vendor table. I cannot even tell you how much that means to me.

This past school year, Emarie's junior achievement class challenged students to come up with a product, budget for it, and sell it — and Emarie took that seriously. She made her own homemade playdough (using the recipe her grandma made for her mom to play with when she was little) sold it at parent teacher interviews, and felt that pride that comes from working hard and seeing real results.

Every single dollar she earned went straight into her piggy bank — for a dance trip to Disney World next summer. 🏰

Come find Emarie on Saturday and buy some playdough. Support this little entrepreneur. You will not regret it.

Emarie will be with us on Saturday only — and I have a feeling her table will be one of the busiest ones out there. 🌻

Meet Madi — the talent behind Mads Hair & Co., and yes, she is my daughter. So I might be a little biased. But only a little. 😄

Madi is a seasoned hair stylist who most of you already know and love. At the market she will be selling Kevin Murphy hair products — professional quality, worth every penny.

But the "& Co." part? That is where it gets really good.

In every spare moment she has, Madi creates. Hand picked barn wood and driftwood boards, antique glass vases, dried florals she has gathered herself — all coming together into wall pieces that are just stunning. She also builds wood risers for decor and has a few macrame pieces joining the collection too.

Everything is handpicked, handmade, and one of a kind. The kind of thing that makes a house feel like a home.

Meet Miya — the artist behind Piper Artz, a Métis artist from right here in Lac La Biche County, and one of the most genuinely inspiring people joining us at the market this year.

Miya has been pursuing her love for art since 2019, and the heart behind every piece she creates is something special. Her inspiration comes from creation and the Creator — the detail of a small flower, the feel of a breeze, the beauty of a world so thoughtfully made. She captures all of that in her work.

Mostly known for her beading, Miya also creates acrylic paintings and drawings rooted in traditional artistry — each piece a celebration of God's creation and the stories it holds.

This is art with meaning behind it. The kind you take home and feel something every time you look at it.

Spruce & Burl is an Indigenous artisan business rooted in a deep respect for the natural world. With Indigenous roots and a reverence for traditional artistry, Dara handcrafts jewelry, keychains, art prints, stickers, eco-printed art, and magnets — each piece thoughtfully designed to reflect the beauty of the earth and deliver something truly meaningful and one of a kind.

You may already know her work from the boutique — her jewelry has been a staple here for years. And if you have been to one of our charm bar workshops, you already know how talented and creative she is in person.
