Good afternoon, Pilot Mound, and welcome to fine dining, Home Bakery-style!

Today's menu begins with a lively course of Gingersnaps to awaken the palate, followed by our signature main dish of ooey-gooey Cinnamon Buns, then concluding with a refreshing round of Rhubarb Rolls.

I am informed by the head chef that the Gingersnaps got a wee bit crispy so they will be offered at 10% off!

Butter Tart Squares are still in the works and we're fixin' to fry up some delicious Mound Bite doughnut holes for your dessert course!

Serving fine pastry & other culinary arts until 6 pm. 🍽

It's rhubarb season!!!! I have freshly picked rhubarb and baked it into a delicious crisp. 😋 if you're not a fan of rhubarb I have chocolate hazelnut cookies, croissants and chocolate sea salt sugar cookies.

I've got fresh treats coming out of the oven along with our regular bread. I felt like I haven't made lemon squares, so I whipped up a batch and are they gooey! Fresh cinnamon buns are ready and chocolate chip cookies and blueberry strudel are out any minute.

Open until 6pm today!

Peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies, raspberry scones, perfect for tea or breakfast on the deck, cream horns are being whipped as we speak and last minute blueberry strudel muffins out in about 20 minutes.

We're involved in an friendly heat wave competition with the greenhouse across the street at Pilot Mound Home Hardware... Candy's greenhouse is at 40 degrees C and we just shut our oven down for the day at a balmy 32 C.

Too hot to cook inside tonight... so if you're buying flowers at the greenhouse, pop on over to try my flour, too! Plenty of fresh hamburger & hot dog buns for your outdoor grilling enjoyment!! ♨️
