Road stand is finally restocked!!

After a rough go with some theft from the farm stand (boo!!) cameras and new products are finally available!!

Still alongside firewood and eggs, and later this week rhubarb and more garden plants will be available as well!

🏉RUGBY STICKERS🏉

Life has been so so busy… For those who don’t know, I help coach our local girl’s rugby team! We have nearly 50 amazing young women playing their hearts out in both fall and spring seasons, and are regularly competing at high level tournaments.

With these tournaments, I purchase medical supplies, hygiene products, blankets, and LOTS of food to keep the team feeling their best!

The girls helped me create and choose these 8 designs for stickers to sell to help cover the cost! Stickers are $2.50 each🤍

Celebrating our first boil today! Incredibly late in the season, but waiting on weather, wood and a day to actually be at home and manage 12+ hours of keeping a fire going all played a factor in setting us back.

Tapping trees was IMMEDIATELY followed by a freeze and a dump of snow. Sap that was flowing when we tapped was all frozen a day later.

The weather is back in our favour now, but just goes to show how the weather and temperature can change a whole season!

Happy maple season! Better late than never we always say! The weather has been crazy but we are excited to get the ball rolling!

Last year we made enough syrup to last us from March until about January including gifts and sharing with friends, and using LOTS for barbecue. Our goal this year is to not run out! So time to get busy!
