That's a wrap everybody! I've worked my last shift and am officially unemployed 😁

Our Hours for the next few days are as follows:
TODAY - 9am - probably 7pm
MONDAY - closed for holiday
TUESDAY - 9am-9pm
WEDNESDAY - 9am-3pm (closed early for inventory & my last day)
THURSDAY- I believe new owner is opening at 7am

I have closed the store for the remainder of today. I'm running on about 3 hours sleep and have had nothing but coffee and adrenaline since 2am. Will open again tomorrow at 9am

I was able to obtain a ton of video footage from the pharmacy in our plaza and apartment building next door, so here's hoping the police can hold them accountable.

Shoutout to the scumbags who tried to break into the store at 2:15am. Good job trying to climb through the bars 🙄. Must have been dropped on your head as a child.
Thanks for making me get 3 hours sleep when I have to work 12 hours today. Thanks for making me have to sit here and wait for an insurance adjuster, and for the $1000 deductible. Good job.

💛 Big News & A Bittersweet Goodbye 💛
After 10 wonderful years, I’m officially announcing that the store has been sold. My last day will be Wednesday, October 15th, and I can hardly believe it’s time to say goodbye.
Running this store has been such a huge part of my life. I’ve watched kids grow up (including my own), shared many laughs and got to know many amazing people, heard all the neighbourhood gossip, and maybe even reminded a few of you to get to class and do your homework 😉.
I can’t thank you enough for your support over the years — for choosing to stop in for your morning coffee, snacks, lottery tickets, or just a quick hello. Every single one of you helped make this place feel like more than just a store.
I’ll truly miss seeing your faces every day, but I’m excited to see what the future holds — first will be a much-deserved break!
I hope you’ll continue to support the new owners so the business can thrive in the future. Thank you again for 10 amazing years of memories, laughter, and community. It’s been an honour to be part of your daily routine. 💙
