It's the last ride and we're gassed up and ready to go. Thanks to absolutely everyone for the run we had. If you loved us, now is the time to take leave and maybe get yourself a deal. We'll still be in and out of the downtown store until the 30th, but this is THE LAST WEEKEND we'll be open.

Did you catch the in-depth story about the undoing of Peterborough's beloved but recently dissolved Electric City Football Club in today's release? Well, you should!

A lot of folks in the local sports community have been waiting for this story to come to light, and Dan Morrison did such a great job with this sordid tale, couching the reason for the team's undoing in a fair and balanced telling of what really happened.

Why not come down to The Capital, grab a free ECFC sticker (now a collector's item!), stick it to your laptop, and read the whole story for yourself!

We managed to get our hands on some Toronto Maple Leafs polos to get ahead of the spring golf season!

The Leafs won't need them of course, because of their impending DEEP playoff run, but you can get yours in store or online at thecapitalptbo.ca.

We also brought in a few Fanatics stretch-fit caps with simple and clean embroidered text on the back for those folks who dig a stretch-fit cap, but don't necessarily want that big "NHL" logo back there! Pairs great with a Leafs polo! See what we did there?

If you see a yellow sticker on one of our hang tags, it means that hat, which usually retails for $40 - $50, is now only $30!

I mean, just take in those side patches. Take in that embroidery work. If you know the brand, then you know these prices are unheard of, especially when you remember that our prices are always tax included!
