There is something so therapeutic about working on a shawl. The repetitive stitches and watching it grow to the point of being your own personal comfort blanket🥰. The by is just that. I started this in the busyness of the holidays and was able to come back to it in the evenings or during a long drive for something to calm my mind☺️. Justyna’s account has always been one that I get excited to see new stories or posts from, but now in this season of my life even more so. It is so important In troubling times to surround yourself with people who will point you back to the One who matters. Thank you for your encouragement Justyna and for this wonderful project. 🤗

I recently won an amazing giveaway from my friend Janelle . On the post she wanted to know what our word for 2022. I have heard this concept numerous times before but always wondered where do people get their word😂😅🤷🏽‍♀️? She patiently explained that you pick the word for yourself as kind of an all encompassing idea that you want to accomplish in the new year. I chose the word “discipline”. As my friend .b pointed out, This is such a huge word that could mean so many things. For me and this year it means following through on things I have committed too, and making less commitments that would impede my ability to give my best to my previous obligations. Quality over quantity!! So here are some projects that I will be completing over the next couple of weeks🥰.

It’s hard to capture these dollies and all their textures and colours. This was my favourite make this holiday season. Four sisters, some of their unique characteristics captured in a doll. So fun! Did you have a favourite make or present this holiday? Also does anyone know what day it is?! I’ve lost track 🤦🏽‍♀️...One of those days before New Years I’m sure😂.

Sometimes you have an idea saved on Pinterest board for years and then you finally have an opportunity to make it!That was the story with these little tea bag book marks 🥰. As a child I was obsessed with books but also equally obsessed with book marks. I made many for family and friends (many not so cute 😂). These ones I made for some family members that I know love to read and I just love how cute they are😍. Plus tea and reading just go together so well!

I don’t have much to say about this set other than 😍😍😍.

One of the benefits of working with a seasoned fibre artist is having access to their repertoire of patterns! I have so many hat and cardigan options for children. Not only that but I have tested for many talented designers. Some of the techniques I use for knitted hats I have learned from who is a knitting genius🙌🏽. has the most adorable patterns for babies and I have tested quite of few of them, they are always a joy to make🥰.
