Here we are, less than an hour away from that last moment when we close the doors on this wonderful venture. Thank you to everyone who visited, shopped, and shared with us over the past two years. I will truly miss this cozy space and all the good times had within. We've been asked a few times about what comes next? For now, there will be a period of rest and revitalization, even less social media posts, and some general calm, followed be a re-imagining of Concave and Widdershins. I will keep these accounts active, and when the time is right I will let everyone know where we are and what is happening. Thanks again and see you soon!

This weekend - come to shop the sale and come to say farewell!
Two years ago and I set out to create a space that welcomed a community of friends. We were oddballs in a new town looking to meet our neighbours and foster a safe space where anyone would feel comfortable to pop in and say hello, shop, make art, try out or learn something new, and of course, talk about their craft! We could never have imagined how many amazing people would find their way to the 2nd floor of Code's Mill. What a pleasure it had been to share the things that are most dear to us - the practices of art and witchcraft - and be accepted, supported, and welcomed by new friends. Thinking back over the past two years I can say that we have truly enjoyed such a wild ride, experienced many wonderful moments, and will treasure this experience as we move forward with our next adventure. With so much gratitude and many blessings, THANK YOU.

While there is still snow falling outside the window this morning, I realize we are getting closer to that magical time of year when bright stems and colourful buds begin to appear! I won't pretend to have a green thumb - very far from it indeed - but I do wholeheartedly appreciate this beautiful awakening and would love to learn more about how to tend to growing things in my home and "garden" (quotes intended). We will soon see the arrival of locally sourced seed packets at Widdershins for the very first time! Stay tuned for more details and pics to come.

The February Full Snow Moon arrives tomorrow, and here are some simple and accessible ways to engage with this moon. February can be a challenging time for many. The whole vibe is one of adjustment which often presents as struggle or overwhelming. The days are still short and biting with cold. The weather is unpredictable, often swinging the pendulum to extremes. It can be hard to feel balanced during this time. I find following the moon phases grounding. It provides an opportunity to work with what's happening around me instead of wasting energy trying to fight against it (ie. wishing for something that is not coming soon - like warmth!). Bring a sense of ease into your life by finding a moment to connect with the energy around, even if you only have five minutes to try one of these suggestions. Simple/easy/quick witchcraft is still empowering! 🔥

Want to practice your card reading skills but don't have the desire/energy/means to leave the house? Each month Widdershins hosts a virtual Tarot and oracle card practice night. Build your skills, try something new, and meet cool people in this small group virtual atmosphere. Each month we explore a different topic and practice together offering positive feedback. It's an excellent opportunity to try new things and learn more about how YOU read cards. Some past topics have included card reading for self-care, what to do when you get 'stuck' in a reading, and finding your intuitive strengths. Visit our website (in bio) to register.
