Finally feeling like I'm getting some energy back after chemotherapy. I've missed my beads! Thought I would try and get creative but it's been a challenge. Have a bit of chemo brain which makes you feel quite foggy. This is the first attempt at working with beads in months!

Hello all! It's been awhile! Update today...the lymph node surgery went good and they removed four lymph nodes that had tumors. One had a 9mm tumor, one had a 3mm tumor and another had a 1mm tumor, the fourth one lit up a bit but no tumor. I met an oncologist in kelowna Wed and he has put together a treatment plan for me. It starts with 6 rounds of chemotherapy, one every 3 weeks. Then I think it will be radiation therapy after that.
I've heard from other cancer patients that they have really good anti nausea medications now so I won't be throwing up. He said it is guaranteed that I will loose my hair but will grow back. I received this package from the cancer clinic and another big package from the hospital here. I have a lot of reading to do....

I'm so blessed to have such beautiful people in my life. Thank you for the thoughtful gift💞🌟

Apologies to all my instagram and page followers for not creating content or engaging much lately. Some of you already know that I have been diagnosed with breast cancer 🎀. It's been an emotional roller-coaster the last few months and getting tests done. I'm trying to stay positive. Surgery will be September 5th followed by radiation therapy.
It's been hard to post content as I haven't been in the creative mind set lately. I'm feeling a little less emotional and more positive this week and wanted a pick me up. I was digging through my beads and gathered the greens to make myself a pair of earrings to go with my green dress. 💚 I love how they turned out!
Although I haven't had any shop updates for awhile the shop is still open.

I've also kept my spot at the upcoming Yuletide market as I am confident that I will have gotten past the cancer.

Thanks for all the likes and comments on previous posts and hopefully I will get back at it soon.

Hey it's me, Jacqueline (Jackie) thought I would introduce myself. Fact is I am absolutely terrible at this social media thing. Dilemma is I'm just not good at putting myself out there, becoming quite the hermit in my old age. I love staying connected and enjoy viewing posts and seeing what all you lovely people are getting up to but I find it hard to be on my phone when all I want to do is work and create with my beads! And I am also helping my hubby with his business, and I am also the president on the strata council of our condo and I also have a bad back which I suffer with that impacts me doing anything at all.
So yeah, I know if I want to sell my handmade creations that I need to be more sociable. Videos of me creating in the bead room are always an after thought. I think of it after I've finished a piece.
I guess I could just throw up a post every once in a while begging you all to buy my stuff haha...
This is me, an introverted extravert...I think?
I'd also like to thank all those that have supported me over the years so far and I will do my best to keep earning your continued support moving forward.
