Hey folks! I'm already into my festival tour and this year I'm staying on the Island. I have already set up and will be hanging and playing in a lovely atmosphere at Nanoose's Art in the Garden for the next few days. Then we'll be at the Pachena Bay Music Festival. As in the early days, the Island's Folk Festival in Duncan, and the Filberg Festival will finish things off. As always, I look forward to sharing music and good energies with anyone who walks around the corner!

On another note, if anyone has a place for me to park my van during the Vancouver Folk Festival(July 19-21), somewhere kind of near to Jericho Beach, I would be grateful! Please let me know by email, thanks!

Good day all! In a few weeks I'm heading out into the world with my instruments. I'll be sharing lovely music and good times with many sweet folks at the Vancouver Folk Music Festival and the Mission Folk Music Festival. Here are some final additions to my selection which I'll be finishing before then: a few full sized djembes, two adventure drums, a hollow-rimmed dohola, two bodhrans, a darbuka and bolted djembe, a tunable tombak and a few kanjiras. I hope to see some of you there, to come together in these crazy times.

We'll be going to the Calgary Folk Festival, the Canmore Folk Festival and the Edmonton Folk Festival with a diverse collection of instruments. Here's to sharing ideas, music and healing energies with all the many good folks I'll meet along the way!

After a few years we're going to enjoy some music festivals again and I hope to see some of you there! I'll be at Musicfest in Courtenay, the Vancouver Folk Music Festival, and the Mission Folk Music Festival with a variety of new instruments. Looking forward to playing and hanging out in the booth with friends old and new!

It's time for me to go on the road again! I was a MusicFest in Courtenay last weekend, but this weekend I'll be at the Vancouver Folk Music Festival at Jericho Beach Park and on the first weekend of August I'll be at the Harmony Arts Festival on Ambleside Beach in West Van. May be I'll see some of you there!

Hey everyone,
in a local debut, the band I'm in, Taganet, is performing at the Errington Farmer's Market this Saturday the 15th of June. Yay! We play a cool variety of global music with a focus on Afro-Eurasian trance. From 10 - 1 we'll be opening up!

If anyone want to come and check out my new instruments I'll be braving a 3 day Christmas show called "A Touch of Saltspring" in Saanich, near Victoria. The show starts tomorrow and runs until Sunday evening. I'll have to infuse the X-mas vibe into my beats!
