It's not the clothes that are making us look older but the way that we're putting them together.

I know that when we get to be a certain age we want to hide a bit more, I hate my arms, but there are so many ways to wear clothes that are flattering, age appropriate and stylish all together.

Don't walk around thinking you have to hide everything, you're worth looking at.

I would size up in our new Nu-Look dresses.

100% cotton, great summer dress.

They are cut high under the arms so what Deb was noticing with her longer torso is that it does cut up a bit.

I have a shorter torso and didn't find it too bad at all.

If you're not sure if you have a long or short torso I would say to come into the shop and try it on for sizing. The smocking in the bodice gives you a fair bit of leeway so you can make sure you get what feels the most comfortable to you!

I nearly missed this collection by Nu-Look, it was the last booth I noticed while walking out of the shows and I'm glad I didn't.

They're 100% cotton dresses, lined, great for summer.

Very pretty and great colour, great textures. They do fit a little snug so I would recommend sizing up in these guys.

But we're open 10-5 so why don't you just pop down to Three Wild Women this weekend and try them on instead.

Topper or cardigan?

I think it can be worn both ways.

It's a great little versatile piece by Charlie B - CANADIAN - and it's great with jeans, over a dress, anything where you want a little extra coverage on your arms.

It comes in black and white, 100% cotton and fits pretty true to size I would say.

We tried a few trends but they don't work for us.

We're wild, but we're not trendy.
We're cool, but we're not trendy.

It's how you put it together I think.

Style for us comes from well made, classic pieces that you'll wear for years and feel good about purchasing.

And sure, we'll try a trend now and again, but usually they end up on the sale rack.

What a way to brighten up your summer looks!

I just find these accessories so fun. You can add them to any of your lighter cardigans or t-shirts to make those black t-shirts just a little more fun for the season.

We have lots of accessories in the shop, less online, but what can you do?
