Lauzon Music was established in 1945 by Larry and Dorothy Lauzon as a family business specializing in piano reconditioning and restoration. During the 50's, the company expanded its inventory to include new pianos, guitars, amplifiers and electric organs. In 1974, Lauzon Music entered into its second generation under the direction of Ken Lauzon. The business had grown so much that musical instrume

nts were displayed on two floors in the family owned building on Wellington Street in Ottawa's west end. Lauzon's reputation for uncompromising quality soon won it the only Steinway Piano Dealership for Eastern Ontario. Lauzon Music continues to leave it’s mark as a destination for high quality instruments and uncompromised service. From the classic names of Steinway, Martin and Gibson, to modern innovators like Taylor and Paul Reed Smith, to the finest custom offerings from Suhr and R. Taylor, we go out of our way to provide the finest crafted instruments available. In recent years we have made an effort to carve out a niche in the market by offering the best in boutique amps and effects. Beginning with Fulltone effects and Dr. Z amps in the mid 90s, and continuing to this day with a number of quality names, we offer an impressive selection of amps and pedals that you will not find anywhere else in this city, province, or even country. Service is another pillar of Lauzon Music. Our philosophy is that service does not end when you walk out the door. Our in house technicians are continuously tuning and maintaining our pianos and guitars. We benefit from having a highly trained and experienced technical staff, as well as a world class piano refinishing facility, and full service guitar shop. We invite you to come to our store where you can play and listen to the instrument of your choice in the privacy of your own individual studio.

The CE 24 Semi-Hollow boasts PRS 85/15 pickups, which were designed to have clarity across their extended high- and low-end frequencies. The electronics consist of a volume and push/pull tone control with a 3-way toggle switch, giving a total of six classic sounds from the PRS 85/15 pickups.

As Iron Maiden celebrate their landmark 50th Anniversary, they stand as one of heavy metal’s most influential and enduring forces since forming in East London back in 1975.
