With the current unrest in the middle east, and what is happening in Lebanon, I was reminded about this badge that I still have a few in stock.

On 4 August 2020, a sudden and devastating explosion occurred at the port of Beirut, Lebanon, resulting in more than one hundred fatalities, thousands of injuries and leaving more than 300,000 people homeless.

After the explosion, the Scout Federation of Lebanon immediately issued a message to all Scouts in the country, requesting prompt intervention to assist in recovery efforts, including transporting the wounded, donating blood, accommodating families in need, and helping repair damages in downtown Beirut. More than 5,000 Scouts and 500 Adult Leaders responded to the call to action the morning after the incident.

On social media, Lebanese Scouts could be seen offering first aid, shelter, food and water to those in need. Scouts collected food donations and setup outdoor cooking stations to prepare zatar, sandwiches and other food for volunteers and people in need. Some members have been helping search for missing people under the rubble. Although they have provided great and timely support, help is still needed.

Proceeds of this badge has already been donated through the World Scout Foundation to the Lebanese Scout Federation.

The 2026 Camp Buchan badge is now available, along with the 2025 and undated versions. Camp Buchan is located southeast of Charlottetown in the community of Point Prim. Established in 1938, Camp Buchan has a long history of facilitating Scouting adventures on Prince Edward Island. The site offers a great sandy beach, main lodge, a log cabin, nature trails and so much more!

Proceeds from the sale of these badges go back to Camp Buchan.

New badge alert! This was a custom badge request by a client but they were only looking to get a small QTY.
