We have a new little activity bundle ready to roll! This kit includes various space playdough stamps, a starry lights playdough roller and space counters from , a moon tray, wooden play pieces, and a 32 piece space puzzle. There is an optional playdough add on from (with notice, subject to availability). This bundle is $10 weekly. Playdough add ons are 2oz for $4, 4oz for $6, and 8oz for $10.

Dear Valued Clients,

I wanted to take a moment to share that I have officially sold my half of The Mother Tree.

This business has been such a meaningful part of my life, and I am incredibly grateful for the support, kindness, and trust so many of you have shown throughout this journey. One of the best parts of building The Mother Tree has been getting to meet and connect with so many wonderful families along the way.

While this chapter is coming to an end for me, Kayla will continue running the business moving forward. There will be some changes as the business evolves, but I know the care and passion behind The Mother Tree will continue.

Thank you again for being part of this journey and for supporting our small business over the years. I truly appreciate each and every one of you.

It’s Kayla here! As Sarah has shared, The Mother Tree is going through some changes. When we began this business, it came at a very difficult time in my life. The Mother Tree became more than just a business, it became partnership, community, support, creativity, and a reminder that I still had something valuable to contribute.

The years spent building this alongside my dear friend, and getting to meet so many of you along the way, have been incredibly meaningful to me. I’m so proud of what we created together.

Moving forward, there will be some changes. As I now live in an apartment, the toy inventory will be downsized and more focused, but with that comes an opportunity for more intention and depth in what I offer.

I’m so grateful for Sarah’s partnership in building this, and while it will be strange to do this alone, I’m excited for this next chapter and for all the ideas I have to continue bringing meaningful, imaginative play into your families’ lives.

Sometimes something simple can add something magical to play. These stepping stones are so versatile, they are a favourite of anyone who brings them home! They can be used for pretend play (floor is lava!), sorting, jumping, colour games and more. They have a soft rubber underside to prevent slipping and scratching. They are wonderful paired with other gross motor toys, pretend toys (we’ve made dinosaur lands!), blocks, or anything else your children can imagine. Check them out in our gross motor section, and pick some toys to pair them with! Weekly rate is $8, DM for questions or to book your rental.

As many know, our Nepean location was temporarily closed. With the Christmas season around the corner we are excited to announce we will be reopening at a different location soon! Starting Dec 1st we will have a new primary location in Nepean. Our primary location in Aylmer remains open, as well as our secondary locations in Orleans, and Embrun (some restrictions apply). We are excited to get back in the swing of connecting our communities with great resources, and hope to hear from you soon!
