We've just added a batch of GFW-80s to the ToneSlinger store's inventory! Long and short legs; double-black, double-creme, zebra, and reverse zebra; 49.2mm string spacing (the standard size). Notifications are sent out automatically to those who have clicked on the Notify When Available link and provided their e-mail address.

For those who receive a notification but find none of the ones they want in stock: the best move is to select your options, and click on the Notify When Available link again so that, when the next batch is added to the inventory, you'll get another email.

Some of you have reached out to us about 52mm string-spacing ("F-spaced") pickups. We've made some, but we did not anticipate the demand, so there will be a few weeks of delay while we wait for our order of 52mm string-spaced bobbins to arrive. Thanks for your patience. It will pay off. These pickups are few in number, given the one-man operation.

JUST ADDED to the https://tone-slinger.com online store:

- two GFW-80s: F-spaced (52mm string spacing), two creme bobbins, short legs

- two GFW-80s: F-spaced, reverse zebra bobbins (creme screw bobbin, black slug bobbin), short legs

More to come eventually, but it will be a while (we're currently focusing on production of VAFs). There also will be about 15 GFW-80s with the standard 49.2mm string spacing in a variety of color configurations (2x black, 2x creme, zebra, reverse zebra) in the coming days (they're assembled but have yet to be wax potted).

We're not a mass production outfit, and there will be more pickups in stock soon...but we want to do something special for Christmas, so the planning needs to start now. Perhaps a very limited run of a complete set for the VH guitar collector/maker in your life? Let us know, in the comments (or send a suggestion to Paul at [email protected]) what you'd like to give, or to receive, for Christmas (this stuff takes months of planning, parts-stocking, etc). Let's make it a great Christmas for a few loved ones.
