Our hearts are with everyone in our Okanagan communities affected by the fires right now. ❤️

We know we can’t fix what’s happening, but we can show up in the small ways available to us. This weekend, we’re showing a little extra love to those working on the front lines as well as collecting supplies for the people and families who have been displaced.

Firefighters, emergency personnel, evacuation-support volunteers..... your slurpee is on us!🍧

Gems & Stems will be collecting much-needed supplies through end of day Sunday.

We’ll load everything up and deliver it Monday to Penticton, getting these donations directly into the hands of the organizations and locations supporting evacuees.

Here’s what we’re collecting:

🍑 Peach season has arrived 🍑

Milshakes made with sun-ripened, locally grown peaches and blended with old-fashioned BC dairy vanilla hard ice cream. Every sip tastes like warm Okanagan afternoons, orchard sunshine, and summer memories.

They're here for just a little while, so stop in and savour the sweetest season before it slips away. 💛

Wedding season is officially in full bloom, and while you already know Bailley, there's another familiar face you'll likely spot sprinkling a little magic wherever it's needed.

Meet Ariel. 💛

For the past four years, she's been the calm in the wedding-day chaos, the extra set of hands carrying bouquets, fluffing florals, helping bring ceremony spaces to life, delivering blooms, lending a hand in the café, and somehow being in three places at once. (We're still not entirely convinced she doesn't have a secret cloning machine.)

If something beautiful is happening around here, chances are Ariel has had a hand in it.

But beyond all the bouquets and behind-the-scenes hustle, she's the kind of person who makes everyone feel welcome the moment they walk through the door. She has the biggest heart, notices the little things, and cares deeply about every customer and every wedding she helps bring to life.

We couldn't dream up this little flower-filled adventure without people like Ariel, and we're so lucky she's part of our Gems & Stems family. 🌿💐

Proof that beautiful can be practical.

We did florals for a gorgeous event at Black Hills Winery where we brought together local wine, local pottery and local florals. 🩷🌸

Not only are these handcrafted pieces beautiful, but they're heavy enough to stand up to the Okanagan breezes. We love a good design that is as functional as it is beautiful.

We cannot believe what happened when we opened the shop this morning... checked the weather forecast... and nearly dropped the ice cream scoop.

This weekend is serving up some seriously incredible summer weather! ☀️

So do yourself a favour and come cool off with an ice cream, grab a seat on our patio, and enjoy the sunshine.

Because unlike Baileys ice cream yours deserves a fighting chance. 🤣🍦🫠
