Japarts Japarts sells high-quality Japanese guitar parts and tools to luthiers, hobbyists and musicians. Brands we carry include Gotoh, DoMo and UO-Chikyu.

When a young Japanese luthier (Yusuke Kawakami) moved to Canada, he found he wasn't willing to leave all of Japan behind. He kept buying tools and parts from back home, primarily through DoMo Parts and Materials as well as from his father (also a luthier). Eventually, the president of DoMo convinced him to buy extras to sell to other luthiers in Vancouver. High quality Japanese parts and materials

sell themselves. The business grew too big for one person to handle in his spare time. Longtime friend and website collaborator Josh Gemmell was brought in to handle communication with the customers. Japarts is now an official agent of Gotoh, a proud supplier of DoMo, and is always seeking out exceptional Japanese tools to bring to luthiers and repair specialists around the world.
