Before The Shore Cannabiz opened its doors, this little spot on Tranquille Road had already lived another life as the old Strauss Herbs garlic grind building.

A lot has changed since those early days, but we’re pretty fond of where we came from.

It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of our good friend, Chris Lyth, last night.

Chris and his wonderful wife, Nadine, owners of The Shore Cannabiz Shop, have been valued members of our North Shore business community. Chris was truly one of the kindest people you could meet—always generous, caring, and willing to lend a helping hand. He touched the lives of so many and will be deeply missed.

Our hearts go out to my dear friend Nadine, their family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing Chris during this incredibly difficult time.

Rest in peace, Chris. You were taken far too soon, but your kindness and the positive impact you made on our community will never be forgotten. ❤️
