🧶New in store🧶

A fresh batch of Merino/Cashmere/Nylon DK has landed in store, and online!

12 colours, some customer favourites, and some new!

I'm using FlowerFairy to knit up a shop sample of the Fingerless Gloves skill builder workshop which started last week. We have another Fingerless gloves class scheduled to start Wednesday June 17th, 2 spaces available!

This yarn is dyed to knit up mini stripes in small circumference projects, spirals on hats and cowls, and surprise pooling on shawls and sweaters! It's a lot of fun to work with and I love seeing all the different colour stitches on the needle.

Sunday fun days! We had 2 embroidery workshops over the weekend, Saturday was Embroidery 202, and Sunday was our Embroidery on Denim workshop.

So much fun, and I look ved seeing everyone get their stitch on!

We're offering this workshop again on Saturday May 23rd if you'd like to explore stitching on denim (or you know, hats!)

Always so proud of my sweater students! (and all my students of course!)

This was the third graduation class for this year, and the next class is now available for sign up, starts Thursday 11th June!

However, if you're looking for some fun this weekend, tomorrow Saturday 2nd May, 2:30pm - 5:30pm is our Granny Square Mix & Match, learn how to read charts! I've pulled out some of my favorites from the Stitches pack. I love the Battenburg one, and the rows of tulips is a winner!

And on Sunday May 3rd, 12:30pm - 3:30pm we have our Embroidery 101. I love stitching, whether it's on aida, linen, denim, crochet or knit fabric! Come and dive into this wonderful world with me.

I've chosen 5 colours from our Lang Baby Cotton, I just need to do a *little* more work, then I'm gonna start my gauge swatch, I can't wait!!!

It's time for a new, New in Store display!!

You asked, we (finally) answered(!) Lace weight yarn is in the house (and online). Lang merino 400, beautifully soft. 25g/ 200m, $8.95. 12 colours to choose from.

Creative Make it Tweed has been fully restocked, this was very popular with our 'Knit a sweater that fits' students and we basically got cleared out, but it's now all back, and I'll share some photos of their lovely sweaters on Friday.

To note, the Summer edition of Knit a Sweater that fits class is now up on the website ready for sign ups.

We've got all the new colours of Anchor Bay Hand Paints out, this is proving to be very popular already, and we have a selection of Spring-full colours of Cascade DK BFL now available too.

Come by to see all the pretties, and maybe stock up for a new Spring project!

We've put together some kits for you, all from WildWestDye as it doesn't get more local than this! Your Local Yarn Store *and* Your Local Yarn Dyer!! (for those of you who don't know, yup, that's me!).
