Open 10-5 everyday from the beginning of May until end October. Valhalla Pure Outfitters was born on Canada Day 1990 in New Denver, across the lake from BC's Valhalla Park. We carry brands like Fjallraven, prAna, KUHL, Norrona, RAB, NEMO Equipment, Yeti, NRS, and MSR. We also carry SUP boards, canoes and kayaks from Delta, Clipper, Aquaglide, BOTE, Werner and Red Paddle. Situated on Slocan Lake, w

e have the perfect location for all water access. Enjoy backpacking and hiking in the Valhalla, Goat Pass, or Kokanee Park alpine. Hike and bike endless rail trails based out of the valley. Population in New Denver: about 500.

It's always best to have a can of bear spray while venturing into our forests.

We do have black and grizzly bears in these parts.

We also suggest singing your little heart out when you are in thick brush, letting them know those silly humans are around again.. 😉
