Hi Hellman Canoes,
We wanted to thank you for 30 plus years of paddling joy! We still delight in riding 3-ft swell in the 17.5 ft Prospector you made for us all those years ago… a solid canoe that has taken us confidently on the ocean, up to northern Alberta, down whitewater in the east and west Kootenays….and most recently a great camping trip on the length of Kootenay Lake. We look forward to more years ahead…

The Hellman drop-in-seat is a removable, comfortable polyester-webbing seat designed to accommodate an extra paddler, two children side by side, or a solo paddler. It easily drops in between the gunwales and can be removed when not in use.
