Welcome to StrayCate Candle Company where we make all natural safe aromatic candles. Each candle is individually wicked constructed, poured, and finished by hand. Every aspect of these candles are eco friendly from the jars that are used which can be recycled and reused and are also heat resistant (which means you dont have to worry about shattering glass) to the wicks a HTP(high tension paper) cotton wrap NO LEAD. The wax is 100% soy bean..a vegetable and is stabilized with cold pressed coconut oil. The labels are paper which again is recyclable and the jute cord is a vegetable fiber second only to cotton for versatility.
The fragrant oils used have been selected for there scent throw and are paraben and phthalate free ( your children, dogs, cats, birds, etc..will thank you)
The reason for the long explanation is because I had a few interesting questions on my first market day and I felt a general explanation of these candles was warranted.
No they are not perfect..but darn close. They did not come off a conveyor belt. Each candle has had my individual attention and I have personally tested out every size and scent. They are poured into 125mls and 250mls jars and soy wax is famous for it's long burn time ( over 25 hours for small and double for large).
I welcome any idea that would improve these candles and I love and welcome the idea of doing individual scent mixes for people. So if you have a particular scent you love or are trying to find contact me and we will see what we can make for you...
