Almost done this pair, the one beak has broke off and mysteriously disappeared. I’m gonna try to fix it or discount them.

I’ve been MIA for a bit, things got really rough temporarily for me, went through 2 weeks of homelessness and did a big move while falling back into addiction.
The positive thing is I picked myself back up and worked really hard to get back to the province I was born in, closer to my family.

It was hard work and it really wore me down, but I’m healthy again and doing positive things and taking my beadwork out again, it’s honestly saved me more than once. I’m grateful I have instruments and art supplies to go back to again and again.

Anybody Ever Like Someone in high school, but never had the nerve to tell them or even talk to them for that matter? Yup that's me! Well 13 years later he asked me out! I still almost can't believe, like pinch me I have to be dreaming? Anyways, my Significant other requested a single stud earring with a black opal he picked out. I can't finish it until I order some earring studs, but this is the base. Done with palladium plated 15/0 miyuki, 13/0 Charlotte Cuts, and a small black opal that flashes green/blue in the light. Gave me an idea on what to do with my single opals that don't have matching pairs.

Lately I have had a few people mention the price of my latest pair of earrings (Not too many, but enough I feel the need to explain), So I want to reiterate that even I have sticker shock sometime when I finish a pair of earrings, The prices are higher than the average beaded earrings because the price of my materials are higher than the average pair, I use specialty gemstones, especially Opals, That are expensive stones, especially black opals. The cabs I use also aren't cheap, I prefer to use sterling, gold, and gold plated metals, I also prefer to use smaller and specialty seed beads, which can be more expensive than size 11/0 and up.
I've posted an article and a picture I've seen floating around on on social media.
