Canada's leaders take home Yummies in a Jar!

I am thrilled to announce that Yummies in a Jar has been chosen as one of several Muskoka products being presented at this week's 2025 Summer Council of Federation! Prime Minister Mark Carney, Canada's Premiers and our Lieutenant Governor will be presented with some sweet swag during their stay at Deerhurst Resort!

Executive Chef and Food & Beverage Manager, Rory Golden contacted me last week and after careful consideration, 4 varieties of Yummies were chosen: Muskoka Medley, Baysville Berrylicious, Algonquin Sunset and Cranberries with Port Wine! Rory was also instrumental in including Yummies in a Jar at the G8 summit in 2010 - thank you Rory!!

I hope my jams will help sweeten the decisions made at this important 3 day meeting in Huntsville and that everyone enjoys this delicious taste of Muskoka!

We hope you can join us this Sunday as Lynn and I celebrate 30 years in business. Quite an accomplishment for a jam maker and an Artist in the seasonal village of Baysville!

We wouldn’t have made it past our initial 3 year trial run without our loyal customers such as yourself, so this is as much about you as it is about us. Please join us for a few hours of great music, food and refreshments and help us eat our way through 35 kg of brisket and tons of cake!

An RSVP would be appreciated to help us plan the afternoon. The weather is looking promising and we really hope to see you on Sunday from noon - 3:00 pm.
