These ambidextrous bows are on the way to Alberta. The small one is a youth bow made of red oak, with Ipe limb tim overlays, and arrow rests made from Wenge and Lacewood. It’s 50” nock to nock and draws 15 # at 19”. The other is made from a single piece of white oak, with white oak limb tip overlays and moose antler arrow pass inlays. It’s 70” nock to nock and draws 37 # at 28”. Both are sealed with exterior spar urethane.

This bow was meant for a customer but after discovering a flaw in the wood on the top limb I decided to keep this one for myself. The Paracord lashing in the top limb will hopefully prevent a lateral split from progressing any further. This is a red Oak Mollegabet style board bow with a maple handle, padauk riser backing overlay, a teak limb tip overlay on the to limb, and a moose antler limb tip overlay on the bottom limb. I heat treated the bellies of the limbs to give the bow a primitive look, and to help prevent the bow from taking set. The bow draws approx 55 # at 29” and is 70” nock to nock.
