June is Pride Month, and the City of Stratford is flying the Pride flag in front of City Hall to send a message of inclusivity, diversity and acceptance to all members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.

We recognize that diversity can also be found in peoples’ opinions about this public show of support.

We welcome discussion, debate and respectful disagreement here, but not hateful or hurtful comments.

Let’s all do our part to create a community where everyone feels welcome and accepted.

June is Pride Month and the Pride Flag was raised on the South Huron Community Flag Pole following a request from Huron County Pride.

“This month, we honour and celebrate the work and inclusion of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Starting as a social justice movement in the late 1960s/early 1970s, generations of 2SLGBTQIA+ people and allies have advocated for, educated about, and celebrated q***r identity, equality, and joy. The symbol of the Pride Flag is a visible reminder of our commitment to ensuring that people of every sexual orientation and gender identity/expression are welcome and included in our communities. During Pride Month, and every day, we continue to commit to this important work.”

The Mitchell store will be Closed Friday to Monday for the holiday.

All other locations are Closed Saturday to Monday.

All locations re-open on Tuesday.

Our staff typically work 6 to 7 day weeks since COVID with very few breaks and time off (as an essential service), so we ask that you respect their time off and only call for emergencies. Thank you!

Exeter patrons please use the detours. We are accessible by coming in from Huron St E in Exeter

ROUTE 2 DETOUR APRIL 27 to MAY 1: There will be NO SERVICE to the Walper St @ McDonald's bus stop in Exeter due to road construction and the closure of Main Street South from the bridge south to Victoria Street.

The bus will service stops on Main Street South at both Huron Street and Sanders Street.

Detour will include Gidley Street and William Street to access Main Street South bus stops, as well as Huron Street West and Airport Line to travel to and from Thames Road West / CR83.
