Our March highlight: The Book Tour at The Book Wardrobe.

Yes, we chatted about the book: an author-and-publicist romcom that offers a peek into publishing industry, with an underlying exploration of the different stages of grief affecting relationships.
We chose pages 57-58 which we thought was a realistic and accurate description on what happens during an author’s book tour, and enjoyed Emily’s reading of the excerpts.
But we also discovered cheese boreg and Emily graciously recommended a bakery for our go-to Armenian bread and pastries.
We were intrigued and amused when the subject of the organ liver came up as another expression of a love language.
It was a pleasant revelation when Karina from the audience shared that years ago, she approached Emily for her services as a book editor. This time, she came to the event to meet Emily the author. Emily’s reaction was priceless!
Plotter or Pantser? We were fortunate to have another author in the audience, Tanaz Bhathena, who asked Emily if her writing style was the former or the latter.
Everyone present got their Q&A spotlight with Emily.
It was only after the event that we sneakily popped the timid question that wasn’t raised: How did you prepare the outline of those steamy details in the spicy scenes of Ana and Ryan on Chapter 12? ….

We are keeping it coy with Emily’s answer. 😉
