I am pleased to announce that I am one of 30 talented artisans that are vendors at a new boutique store opening this Wednesday March 1st in Hespeler which is part of Cambridge.

It’s an amazing idea and their second store they’ve opened with this concept. Great place to buy gift, home decor items and so much more. Please come and check out this amazing store and tell your friends. Great places to eat lunch a few store fronts down!

Exciting news coming in the next few months! I am re-branding myself and changing from The Crafty Bird to Sparrow Hill. As well as a new name I will be launching a line of handbags. Each will be beautifully handcrafted with attention to detail and the ease of everyday use.

Just putting the feelers out to see if there’s any interest.

I made myself a passport holder before I travelled for the Christmas holidays. Between the paperwork for proof of vaccination, covid test and a couple other forms I needed to travel with I wanted something that would hold everything together. Plus when I’m not travelling it safely holds all my travel documents.

It ended up being the best thing ever!!!! 💕

So now I’m sharing what I made to see if it’s something I should offer up in my store?

Mine I made with soft yet durable cork fabric which is UV and stain resistant treated. Interior is a coordinating cotton fabric and a magnetic clasp completes the passport wallet.

I can make these in a more affordable form using all fabric or a faux leather. Cork fabric and genuine leather would be a premium option carrying a bit of a higher price tag. Let me know what you think. Would you buy something like this?
