My quilted coat, which was made several months ago, finally got a moment in the spotlight. I did NOT make this lovely hexie quilt - I thrifted it from my good buddy Char at and spent an afternoon turning it into this cozy and cute jacket! Took an old pair of Mr QBs jeans to the cutting table for pockets, binding and the sleeve cuffs, and there we go!

Have you heard?! Super Bowl Sew Day with The Quilter's Bolt and is back!
Sunday February 11, join us as we ignore everything football to spend six blissful hours together stitching! I have two Mystery Kit options for you this year and a very fun, versatile and beginner friendly pattern! We have a Kona Solids quilt kit (giving me major rainbow vibes. I can't wait to see this come to life!!) and an equally exciting Scrappy & Happy Quilt kit (limited quantities of this one available).
We will be running online this year (Stitcharie has an in person option for those of you in Petrolia area) and if you have joined us before, you know this is really fun! Lots of instruction, tips and tricks will be happening live, for our participants only! The group is also a fun place to share your progress as time passes and celebrate one antoher's accomplishments!

I've been pretty quiet on here for the last couple of months. Lots of change and adjustment happening around QB Headquarters! As I look forward to 2024, and reflect on all the good, the bad, and the challenges of 2023, I would love nothing more than end this year on a high note with all of you! So here we are, with our biggest sale of the year (Or EVER??!!). This sale begins NOW and runs until December 30 at 11:59 pm.

If you were at sew day last weekend, you probably saw me forcing this baby through my machine for the last few stitches! This is the Patchwork Duffel Bag and I made it using a Liberty Fabrics Layer Cake and some Kona cyan blue. What do you think? Are you fan of making bags?

Last month after the always wonderful show in Buckhorn, I made a stop (my first time!) at the Adam and Eve rocks in Buckhorn. What a beautiful spot with some great folklore, too! I snapped a couple of pics of this lovely quilt, which is available for purchase on our site. A modern floral colour palette - this quilt is a large lap/twin bed cover sized quilt and would make a lovely gift for someone you want to wrap in a hug 🤗
