New year, new plant opportunities!

Are you planting your seeds yet?! My husband is already planning our gardens and I’m thinking about a preserving plan 👏🏼 it’s the petite joy sparks friends ✨

I recently had the opportunity to experience an incredible tasting menu and what a MOMENT it was 🥰 The main dish was on plates that I created. It was incredibly humbling, largely in part because of the culinary creation it was entwined with ( 👏🏼) Sharing physical creative space with another artist. Ahh!

Seeing the organic movement of the lines of the plates on other patrons tables, big F-word did that ever make my heart sing. The heart of Georgian Bay is never lost in my work, it is a large part of the foundation.

I appreciate artists because of their vulnerability. No matter what medium they choose to experiment with...food, textiles, beadwork, oil, glass, weaving. It’s all an expression of their inner being, a feeling or thought transferred into its own glorious moment.

I remember feeling the connection of the instructors words. When my brain, heart and index finger caught clay for the first time. Finally being able to pull the clay up (not far☝🏼) but UP. It was a thrill and I was in love. From a mound of earth to a perfectly imperfect vessel.

In September I will be instructing a six week beginner course at ✌🏼Having the opportunity to help someone make the “connection” and potentially spark a love affair, WOWA do I ever feel fortunate for the opportunity.

It is such a beautiful space to work in, I’m positive it will make those inspirational heart palpitations tap tap tap 💓

With pending nuptials on the horizon, it’s reiterating the fact that I am gaining more eggs to my family basket and I feel incredibly fortunate✨

For the month of August I am being very conscious of taking moments of rest. A grief pattern of mine is to overextend my time and then crash, coming up to a milestone I am trying to be gentle with myself and practice self care (yoga+silence+A LOT of cuddling+good food). Having time to rest with my old eggs and new is my intention during this time.

So as this single egg is embraced in this rest, I hope it acts as a reminder for you take a moment to pause and nourish your heart if you need it 💗

I love the golden hour, when you and your surroundings sparkle with beautiful hues of yellows and cream.

I wanted a glaze combination that reminded me of summer moments, laying in the sun and the scent of the bay in August. IYKYK.

I think I found it ☀️🌊

✨ POP-UP SALE ✨

With a grateful heart I would like to announce that I will be having a beachy pop-up sale on July 10th from 10am - 1pm ☀️

You will find me and the lovely sitting outside of in Tiny Township 🌊

Your day could consist of ceramics, locally grown florals AND ice cream. A lovely adventure of your choosing 🌸🍦 🏖 ☕️ 🌮 PS. 10/10 WOULD recommend the frites from the food truck 👌🏼

What to expect? I will have bowls, a limited amount of mugs, bb tumblers and plant pots. Over the next two weeks I will share a couple sneaky peeks so you can see what is available! Cash sales day of only.
