Halloween 2026 is in the books. This was the first time Halloween has been on a Saturday since we opened and we weren’t sure what to expect. We were a stop on the first ever Halloween Parade and I really enjoyed it. Thank you to my kids for helping out - S for the scavenger hunt, M for organizing the games and C for running the treat counter. You guys were fabulous! Speaking of fabulous - The Goose and the Gridiron did the most awesome job with their ‘Carnevil’ this year. Well done and thank you for hosting. Hope everyone had a great Halloween. I FINALLY opened the package I received from E-UP Games . Thank you so very much for sending me the gifties!

I apologize that it took me so long to open it. I was waiting for the perfect moment so that I could take my time and truly appreciate what was inside.

I was so happy to receive the new expansion cards and see the new Lake Ontario playing piece and I can’t wait to play with them.

Absolutely fabulous job! You guys are hilarious!

Thank you also for the cheeky hat and especially for the 3D printed ‘Maple Leaf Award’. (That’s what I’m calling it.) It is very special and I was touched that you took the time to make it for me.

(If you watch me, you know that I love giving myself awards…)

If I ever meet you in ‘real life’ you will have to autograph my award for me.

(Did you make Tod Maffin 🇨🇦 Canada, Explained one too?…I like to think that maybe I’m super special and have my very own one of a kind Canadian award. 😉)

Congratulations on your success and for hitting the big time in manufacturing your game. I love that you’re doing a Canadian made ‘Gold’ version (with signed cards) and especially that you’re doing a scholarship. Well done!

I know that you also donate a portion of your profits to charity, which is why I was doing likewise with your special Canadian playing pieces when I had them in stock.

I will be bringing the money I raised from donations for your Canadian made pieces down to our local Rideau Community Health Serv. Food Cupboard very soon.

It has been fantastic working with such well rounded and kindhearted young Canadians. You should be most proud of yourselves. (I know I am.)
Thank you again and all the very best!

We are now SOLD OUT of American Dictator (original pizza box version) for the third time. If you would like to order your own version, the new expansion pack cards, the Canadian playing pieces or any of the merch, please visit https://www.e-upgames.com

Many apologies. I’m too sick to work in the shop today. 🤮 Maybe I’ll feel better later and we’ll open and/or can get my eldest to do it. Thank you for understanding.

Successfully fought the ADHD urge this morning and made it to work on time. Thus, I decided to give myself an ‘Adulting Award’.

Behind the scenes. Here’s a quick peek at our upstairs bathroom. (It’s been undergoing renos for over three years now…Maybe one day we’ll finish.) Thought you might like to see some of the ways we’re rethinking/repurposing things up here. What sorts of things do you do? Mentioned in this video sink from Kemptville Restore Cupboard from Too Good to Be New (Paint and flooring from Home Hardware in Smith Falls. )
