Maker class details! I'm so excited for this bundle of crafty goodness! 🧵 ✂️

Join me on December 10 at 10:30 (The Home for Christmas Pop-Up Market opens at 10, you can sneak your shopping in before the class 😉). We'll warm up with making 3 wood bead star ornaments, then work on some beginning macrame skills to create 3 different ornaments.

If you're feeling extra crafty, for an additional $10, you can learn how to finger knit a garland and walk out with the whole set. Let me know in advance and I can make sure to have yarn available in your Christmas colours. 😍

I'm definitely a details person and this is one of my favourites! Each toque and earwarmer has a little faux leather tag. Gives it just the right finishing touch!

I'm so excited to bring my Snippets and Strings Maker Class back to Shop Created Market on November 16th! I have a couple items that will be available for you to 'make + take'. Easy for a variety of maker abilities and ages with lots of options to personalize and express your own creativity. No pre-registration required! Just pull up a chair and jump in!

Make + Take 1: Christmas Hoops. $15
4" hoop to customize with your own word and trim. Lots of options and styles to make as festive as you'd like!

Make + Take 2: Wood Bead Keychain. $12
Paint the beads or leave them natural. Choose from a variety of cording, key chain metals and paint colours!

Today I'm rolling with the punches!🥊 In all honestly, my upcoming class just hasn't sold tickets like I'd hoped/expected. But as I've chatted with others about why that might be it's made me think outside the box. Which has become one of my favourite parts of creating. Problem solving. Thinking about how things could be done differently. 🤔 💭
So, in my current rainbow obsession 🌈 I totally overlooked that for many people a whimsical rainbow embroidery just wouldnt have a home. Duh! 🤦‍♀️But what that opens the door to, is giving you a lot more freedom to design your own hoop. I will of course be there to help you out and provide some examples. But now you can create something you will love!
Pictured here is an alternative I whipped up this afternoon. And tonight I have one more in the works. 💛
