Today we met our long time clients at their new build todo a pre rough in walkthrough. We have been planning this project with them over the last couple years. Excited to get some on site work started.

Yesterday we picked up 4 orders from Phantom Screens. Two motorized large bug screens and two manual door screens. Excited to install these over the next couple weeks! We will update you with pictures.

Ryan and Adam had to break out our scaffolding for this shade job in Blue Mountain. This job featured a mix of motorized and manual Hunter Douglas shades in every room of the house.

Samsung The Frame art TV above a double sided fireplace. These Frame TVs come with large external boxes that we have to hide in adjacent cabinets or wall cavities. The end result is fantastic.

Control4's Chime video doorbell at a recent job in Newcastle. The Chime is designed to hook up to existing doorbell wiring for power and wifi for communication or during new builds we can use Cat6 cabling to provide a hardwired connection. This flexibility allows us to provide a video doorbell solution with remote management to all our clients.

Some more spring work from one of our Kingsway jobs. We installed these security cameras as soon as the soffits were completed so the builder and home owners could monitor the progress of construction.

Today Daryl is installing some Episode in ceiling speakers on one of our job sites. These speakers code equipped with a directional tweeter that we position for the best sound possible in any given room. Finished off with a magnetic grill these speakers virtually disappear on the ceiling.

A quick final measurement before we order Hunter Douglas shades for our client in Etobicoke. Most of the shades in this house have been tucked in drywall pockets to hide the shade in its upright position. We will keep you posted on the final install over the next couple weeks!

It's been a busy spring for us this year. We're really excited to see this island project come together over the next couple months. This project will feature home a Control4 system consisting of lighting, audio/video, security and HVAC control. We will also be installing and connecting Phantom Screens motorized bug screens and Hunter Douglas motorized shades.

Today we installed some Hunter Douglas shades in a cottage on Stoney Lake. These shades are powered by rechargeable battery packs that last upwards of a year before charging. We love the wood trim covering these open roller shades.

Spring speaker installs are in full swing. Paul and Kyle are hooking up TWO 12” burial subwoofers and TEN 8” satellite speakers. As the gardens grow over the years these speakers will disappear into the foliage. This yard is going to be rocking just in time for the May long weekend.

A recent AV install for our client. 85” Samsung QN800 8K TV. Sonos Arc. Sonos Sub and Sonos Amp powering Sonance in wall speakers for surrounds. Powered by Control4.

A recent upgrade for our client. We took out an old analogue camera system and replaced it with an IP system. These cameras have active deterrence built in. What does this mean? The cameras sense people or vehicles moving within specific areas of the image resulting in a visible and audible alarm. The client is also notified with a push notification.

We happily replaced an old door intercom unit at this home in Toronto for a Ring doorbell. We had to custom fabricate a metal backing plate to mount the new video doorbell over the old intercoms junction box.

Hunter Douglas fabric wrapped cassette and bottom bar. This is an optional upgrade from Hunter Douglas. This allows out clients to wrap the cassette with any fabric from Hunter Douglas. The alternative is a metal cassette available in various colours. The bottom bar can also be wrapped with fabric.

A few examples of shades with transom or clearstory windows. These semi opaque shades provide full privacy for our clients while allowing some light through the fabric. By breaking the shades into 2-3 over a larger opening we are able to keep the cassette of the shade to a smaller size. In this situation the jamb of the window and doors wouldn't allow for an inside mount of the shades so we went with a surface application.

Hunter Douglas Semi Opaque designer roller shades in a Living/Dining space. These shades are controller by the PowerView Gen 3 app. And integrated into Control4. We connected them to Control4 lighting keypads throughout the house to allow for quick in room control of shades at entry/exit points.

Custom biometric reader that we recently did for a client. With a simple finger print scan we are able to unlock this clients front door, disarm the security and turn on a welcome home lighting scene. When leaving we have programmed the door to lock, the security system to be armed to away mode, the lights to enter into an away mode, and lastly all the AV in the home to shut down.

Surveillance cameras we installed at a cottage under construction a few months ago. The builder finished the exterior of the home during early stages of the project so we immediately supplied and installed cameras to keep an eye on the job site.
