But, we are not going to do that - We love our customers from the Western Canada and we understand it is very touch for operating your business during the pandemic. The products we choose to sell are still doing very well during this pandemic. We have increased our purchase by 25% this year compared to the year before while at the same time seeing our inventory level dropped by 20%. It’s a good sign! We have been very busy during the pandemic and kept all of our staff at work. Hence, it is extremely important to find a supportive supplier who understand your needs.

This pandemic is really hurting a lot of businesses. We are currently under Step 2 lockdown in Markham, Ontario. We have received so many phone calls recently from those customers who wish to visit us during the lockdown. Thank you for your continued support but we have no one in the office yet, since the mid of December, except on every Wednesday only.
If you wish to place your order with us, please provide us the complete order details and not asking us to call you back for something like “what’s out of stock” or “call me for credit card when ready.” We currently have no resources to distribute to this kind of tasks when we only have limited staff and working hours due to social distancing.
In fact, our office was actually open at 5am in this morning and our staff has to work overtime till 7:30pm today … but still not able to ship out everything. Another 20%+ of packages are picked and packed after the UPS truck left our warehouse at 4pm today. Tomorrow, we have to schedule another person to go back to the office again to invoice and process those outstanding packages.
Please be patient with us. Your order will be eventually ship out in 2-3 weeks time. Don’t rush us because we are working very hard to complete everyone’s order.
Although we have containers arriving every month from now on, please still try to double up your order from now on as our inventory depleted very fast and any popular products become scarce due to global shortage of raw materials and skyrocketing of fuel surcharges.

Spring Show Cancellation:
Due to the highest case count since April with 4,177 new infections on yesterday, the Ontario has announced new health and safety measures in an effort to curb the transmission of the new Omicron variant. Due to the increased number of new Omicron variant, the Board of Directors from the largest trade show in Canada has made an announcement today/tonight by cancelling the Spring 2022 Toronto Gift + Home Market show.
For the Alberta Gift + Home Market show, after much discussion and consideration, the Board has also decided not to move forward with the February dates for next year, 2022. Having said that, the Board believes in the importance of supporting western retailers, and as a result, they are working with their facility partner, Edmonton Expo Centre, to explore options for later dates, such as April/May, in Spring 2022.

There are 2 financial products that I always regret for not able to get my hands on before they rise up so high.
One is the Bitcoin and another one is the Tesla stock. Take the Bitcoin for example, back in the year 2017, I know a close person of mine who purchased $50k in Bitcoins when it was only a few hundred dollars. Since then, this person’s wealth enters a roller coaster style. From $50k up to $6 millions in one year then down to $750k 2 years ago in January 2020. Then, up to $11 millions again from $750k in one year, then down to $5 millions right now. When we have no gut to purchase this investment now (or in the past), why not at least purchase one of our upcoming Bitcoin touch sensitive lamp?

In addition, we also want to thank all of our customers who supported us during this new normal. Our sales volume has reached to another milestone during the pandemic. Although our profit margin is getting thinner and thinner every year due to the cost of inflation and shipping costs, but due to our increased sales volume, we have gain more income, more than doubled+, for the past 2 years. Thank you for working with us on those defective items and damaged items during shipping. Thank you for work around with us on those problems and find a solution that best fit both of our needs. I know it’s easy to just give back the money but remember you are the one who paid for the shipping. It is best in both of our favour to just issue a replacement so that we don’t waste our available resources and make us hike the price eventually.

It is time to fill up your product shelves NOW before your supplier running out of inventory due to the current flooding situation in BC. Nothing can be moved around the country as all roads and rails have been severely damaged. We have informed by our couriers, ie. UPS, Canpar, etc. from yesterday that we have to hold on all of our shipments inside our warehouse until further notice.
This is going to be interesting to see how many suppliers actually have enough inventory now to sell during this new development.
For Ace, we spend a lot of time doing the planning and purchasing. We actually assigned a full-time position buyer doing all the purchases 7 months in advance. This is just another reason showing how we have grown so fast during the Pandemic for our restocking turnover rate.
