From Mexico to Canada, and after four years of working toward this moment, it’s finally time to celebrate! Paola, we’re so happy for you and so grateful to share this special milestone with you. You’re a lovely part of our flower shop family, and this celebration had your name written all over it! 🌸

We were busy with flowers today when our boss lady slipped out… and came back with armfuls of socks for our Socktober basket. 🧦🤍

Now we’re inspired to keep that kindness going—and we’d love you to join us.

We’re proud to be a collection spot for the Socktober drive organized by ST.O.R.M Stop Overdose RM — STORM Stop Overdose Ridge Meadows. Their team collects the donations and delivers them to people experiencing homelessness, bringing a little extra warmth to our community this winter.

Drop off a pair (or a few!) at Westgate Flower Garden, and let’s fill this basket until it overflows. Every pair means a little more comfort, a little more warmth, and a reminder that someone cares.

We came home with an unexpected award and hearts fuller than words can say. 🤍🌸

Last night, we joined our business community for a special evening with the one and only Trevor Linden, hearing him share his life’s journey.

I was personally moved by his reflections on hard work—the hours, the dedication, and, above all, the passion and humility behind it all. His words stayed with me because they reflect what I believe makes both a rewarding life and a successful business: caring deeply about what you do and putting your heart into it.

What I wasn’t prepared for was hearing our wee flower garden called to receive an award. It brought me to tears, and even today, that unexpected recognition still makes me emotional.

A heartfelt thank-you to Kristi and her team, the Ridge Meadows Chamber of Commerce, and the BC Chamber of Commerce for supporting small businesses, recognizing our efforts, and touching my heart so deeply last night.i also want to thank our dear friends Kevin J Nosworthy and Debbie for watching out for us last night. Apparently they went to great lengths to make sure I would actually turn up on time!!! I had absolutely no idea, and to end the evening they took my Nigel and me out for drinks and a bite to eat. Truly an unforgettable experience. 💜🌻💜

This weekend has been a real mix of special events all with specific timelines Westgate Flower Garden. After a fast pace Saturday we closed up our flower garden a wee early so we as a team could be apart of an amazing fundraiser “Twinkle into Twilight Soirée” for Community Services Meadow Gardens Golf Club . We really love to connect together as a team and this felt like the perfect evening for us. Today Sunday began pretty early as this boss lady needed to be in our flower garden at 6.30 am to put finishing touches on our wedding flowers for a beautiful bridal couple. We then headed back to Meadow Gardens with memorial flowers for 8.30 am and thankfully it was an extra blessing to reach church just in time for 10.00 am to experience the candle being lit and a reminder that”Jesus is the light of our World”. The rest of this day was spent in gentle sunshine being so thankful to have been able to give our hearts to every timeline. We are looking forward to embracing this next week which we know will be full of many blessings. Happy Sunday evening and see you tomorrow. Xox 💜🌻🦜💕🙏☘️🌺🇨🇦🧡💜🌻
