Here at Darkside we rarely make political-related posts, but this amazing person is the exception to our rules about that.
Alison Evans Pitt Meadows City Councillor is not only an amazing community leader, but an incredible human being and we hope your votes will re-elect her to the Council.
Many moons ago we had the pleasure of working with her, and she always brought authenticity, action, dedication, and a wonderful sense of humour to the team.
There was a night our team was getting slammed with an active shooter incident. Alison heard what was happening and called in to ask if she could come in and help. It was a huge relief and godsend in the middle of chaos. It’s a night never forgotten, and more importantly, remembered by who showed up and helped on their own accord. That’s teamwork.. in its most raw form. Recognizing a need and taking action.
She shows up. She takes action. She loves and contributes to her community and gives 100% to everything she does.
This is who you want on your community leadership team. We encourage you to support her re-election. We also think she’d be a great Prime Minister too 🙌🏼😉
