What a day!
We want to send a huge thank you to everyone who attended our first Spey Clave at First Lake this past Saturday. From first-time casters to seasoned anglers, the turnout and support absolutely blew us away. Seeing so many people on the water learning, sharing knowledge, testing gear, and talking fishing is exactly what we hoped this event would become.
A massive thank you goes out to our instructors Mitchell Roberts, Danny Ripley, and Darren Bernard for sharing their time, knowledge, and passion throughout the day. Also a big thank you to all the vendors and organizations who helped make this possible including RIO, Sage, Reddington, Guideline, Airflo, St. Croix, Fish Nova Scotia, the Sackville River Association, the Nova Scotia Salmon Association, and everyone else who supported the event behind the scenes.
Most importantly, thank you to the Atlantic Canadian fishing community for supporting something new. The response to this event showed us there’s a real passion for Spey casting and salmon fishing here on the East Coast.
With the first one under our belt and with some great feedback & suggestions we're already starting the 2027 planning.
Thanks you all again and see you in 2027!
