📣📣📣 NEW ARTIST INTRODUCTION 📣📣📣

Local artist, Jody Galardo, grew up in Montreal. She studied fine art in CEGEP, completed her Bachelor of Education at Concordia University and went on the complete her Masters in Counselling here in London, ON.

She recently retired from a 40 year psychotherapy practice while running a small side business called Yummy Gems for the last 30 years with her jewelry designs. Jody has many interests and enjoys switching up product lines for the sheer joy of experimentation.

Jody creates the most beautiful watercolour paintings, collages, cards, tiles, mobiles and fibre arts. Her Yummy Gems jewelry is predominantly semiprecious stones with sterling silver findings and is one of a kind just like those who purchase and wear her pieces. She rarely repeats designs. Jody works energetically and intuitively with all her creations because that is what brings her the greatest pleasure. She is inspired by the beauty of nature and strives to reflect that in her unique creations.
