Dear neighbours, we have some bittersweet news to share with you. January 31st will be Yard’s last day of selling indefinitely. The past two years have been a beautiful whirlwind of shoots, markets, collaborations, and mountains of clothes stacked in our living room. We have loved every minute of our journey thus far, but it has also helped us discover what we would like to prioritize during this next chapter.
The good news is that we will be keeping Yard Retrou alive, but we have decided to shift gears. Both of us (Sydney and Kelly) will be continuing to work together under this name to pursue styling and creative direction. We plan to continue promoting second hand fashion through future endeavours, as it was thrifting that got us here in the first place. will still exist as our IG, but will exist more as a platform to share our work and connect with others!
We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has been a part of this journey so far, it couldn’t have been done without you. Honestly, we are so incredibly grateful for each and every single one of you! We would also love for you to continue following us on this adventure, as we are excited to see what the future holds.
