Someone was bit by the Hydrangea Bug 😂

Our hilarious duo of clients purchased a variety of hydrangeas , Smokebush and perennial Big Bluestem grasses to compliment their existing landscapes.
Great choices!

HYDRANGEA SEASON IS STARTING 😍

Who loves these babies? 🙋🏻‍♀️
We have a varied selection of Zone 3 hardy hydrangeas IN STOCK, sooooo come on in and let’s pick you out the perfect one for your location!

TOP TIPS FOR PANICLE HYDRANGEAS
☀️ 4-6 hours of sun… even 6+ hours
💦 water deeply once a week in the heat of summer
🌿 chose a well draining spot (not low lying)
✂️ trim back by about 1/3 inches spring

While you are picking out your favourite hydrangea, add in some contrast colour shrubs that we have selected for your location. Ninebarks, spiraeas, plus Smokebush.
Adding a contrast shrub will allow the flowers of hydrangea to REALLY pop!

Ahhhh Summer…. You never disappoint with the beauty you provide in blooms!

We always try out a few combinations for ourselves to see how they perform for next season. Perhaps this will be a featured planter for 2027? What do you think?

This stunner has richly hued Bloomify Rose lantana providing non stop heavy hitting shades of rose, pink and golds with the Mayan Sunset petunia in its pink with golden halo glory. The vertical element is ‘Little Prince’ papyrus, with his exotic tufts rising above the colour.

The pot is awash with glowing colour, especially in the evening sun. We love it!!

And, to keep them full of life and blooms, we use a combination of our Super Bloom fertilizer (10-40-25) plus our Organique Kelp Boost (0-0-5) for micros.

Mark and Save this for next season, it’s a perfect winner

Is it JUST us or are there LOADS of Monarch butterflies and caterpillars this year!!

Join in the efforts to create beautiful habitats for beneficial insects and pollinators, including Monarchs!

Plant a habitat that includes perennials to help feed insects and add some water with a resting pad for hot days.

Manitoba has Monarch Clubs you can join and the David Suzuki foundation has the Butterflyway Project that you can participate in.

Man, with this humidity… it’s crazy hot for greenhouse and working with shrubs!
