Started it Listowel in 1926, the Ideal Supply Company Limited began as a manufacturer of bread molding machines. It also entered in the furniture and radio component business and by the 1940s was a retailer of hardware and automotive parts. Ideal Supply grew from five Southwestern Ontario stores in the mid 1960s to today’s number of 30 NAPA Auto Parts locations as part of its Automotive Group. Ide

What a fantastic day on the green at this year’s EFC Federation Cup! ⛳

The annual tournament brought members of the Electro-Federation Canada community together for a great day of golf, conversation, and valuable industry connections.

Our Ideal Supply team members—Howie Pruden, Chris Moon, Adam Coutts, Nick Bewick, Don McNichol, and Peter Mackie—were proud to represent Ideal Supply and spend the day connecting with industry partners and members of Canada’s electrical community.

🌦️ A Little Bit of Everything at Bracebridge Deal Days! 💨

Our third Deal Days event took place at Ideal Supply Bracebridge on June 18—and the weather certainly kept us on our toes!

We started with rain, clouds and cool temperatures. The sun finally peeked out for a short period and brought some heat before crazy winds had us holding down the tents to keep them from blowing away! ☔☁️☀️💨

Despite all the weather changes, we still had a fantastic turnout. Thank you to all the customers who joined us, along with our participating suppliers and the Bracebridge team, for staying flexible and making it such a fun and memorable day!

Our second Deal Days event rolled into Ideal Supply Parry Sound on June 11—and it was definitely a hot one! ☀️

Despite the soaring temperatures, customers, suppliers and team members came ready to make the most of the day. It was wonderful to see such a great turnout and so many people connecting, exploring products and taking advantage of the day’s great deals.

We’ve been busy getting everything ready for another incredible weekend on October 3rd & 4th, 2026!

Ideal Supply Inc. is thrilled to be running registration again this year, and we can’t wait to see what rolls into the show! Join us for an unforgettable weekend featuring incredible vehicles, passionate owners, plenty of nostalgia, and fun for the whole family!

🎟️ Registration pricing:
• Register by September 1st: $25 per vehicle
• Register from September 2nd – 30th: $30 per vehicle
• Gate registration: $40, space permitting

⚠️ The show is limited to 800 vehicles, and participation is only guaranteed when you pre-register.
Pre-registering also helps speed up the registration process each day—meaning less time waiting and more time checking out the show!

Registered vehicles receive:
🏁 A limited-edition 2026 dash plaque—available to pre-registrants only
🏁 Early entry beginning at 7:00 a.m.

Today, we had the pleasure of celebrating Rob Hollinger and his remarkable 43-year career with Ideal Supply. It was a wonderful day filled with great memories, laughter, and well wishes as colleagues, friends, and family gathered to recognize this incredible milestone. 📸🥳

Throughout his career, Rob has contributed to many areas of Ideal Supply, including the Warehouse, Purchasing, Branches, Marketing, and finally the Automotive Sales Division. In every role, he has been an integral part of our organization, demonstrating strong leadership and an unwavering commitment to customer service.

Over more than four decades, Rob has helped shape our sales team, supported countless employees in their professional growth, and built lasting relationships with customers and colleagues. His dedication, knowledge, and many contributions have left a lasting impact on our company and everyone fortunate enough to work alongside him. 👏
