On this day 19 years ago, I found my 21yr old self standing in 2” of snow, with my back to the nipping raw East wind that went straight through my thin suit, and the large wet fluffy snow flakes caked behind my ears. It was only the beginning of October, much too early for snow! But then again, I was also standing at the the grave of my 47yr old Dad, was he not also much too young to go?

19 years brings with it many changes. Shortly after Dad’s death, we parted out his business. The retail store items and the woodworking tools were auctioned off, and the mail order portion was sold. It kinda felt like his “clocks” died with him.

But here we are 19 years later. This August, only a few days before what would have been his 66th birthday, with paperwork in hand, the “clocks”, came home.

Thank you Grace & Laverne and family for the many years of hard work and dedication you put into Craftime and the transitions that took place from bygone catalogs & mail-order to present day internet & E commerce. The customer satisfaction and service you provided are truly exceptional. And to our customers, thank you for the many years of support.

We're closed Sept 3 to Sept 30, 2019 and open for business again on Oct 1 2019.

As small business owners we're setting aside a block of time for some personal pursuits in September just prior to the busiest season of the year. Thank you for your consideration, and we'll be back in October.
