Hey everyone! My name is Jake Johnson. I am an audio engineer and a guitar technician, I also work at your favourite local music store Serious Music Centre located in King Of Trade!
I attended OIART in Ontario, studying music, production, recording arts, audio-visual media and acoustics, just to name a few.
I have also been in the music scene from the young age of 14- playing gigs at the local bars in Saskatchewan with my buddies.
I have taken numerous courses to further educate myself in the world of guitar repair as guitars have always been my passion.
I thought I would give everyone the opportunity to get to know me a little better, so they know who they will be working with in the future.
•When I'm not making music or tweaking guitars, I'm spending time with my amazing fiancé, who's not only an incredible partner but also a talented hairstylist in town. We met in high school, and our wedding is in June of 2026! Our two furry companions, Otis and Koba, keep us on our toes - they're always getting into mischief!
•As a musician myself, I've been in two bands as a teenager and have always been eager to collaborate with fellow musicians. I'm always on the lookout for like-minded individuals to jam, record, or create music with. If you're a musician looking for someone to chat about gear and music, I'm always open for a chat!
It is my goal to set up each and every guitar according to the individual playing it. Whether you are a campfire hero or you are shredding death metal on stage- I’m your guy!
