Has anyone else ever been screwed over by Christensen Arms so-called "warranty"?

I spent about $4,500 on a top end model from them, and not only was it terrible workmanship all around, but the deal breaker was that bloody thing over-pressured just with factory loaded rounds.

I sent it to their Canadian warranty centre Corlane Sporting Goods Ltd (over 2 years ago now), and they agreed right away that it was over pressuring the rounds, and could not fix the rifle because it slam fired when closing the bolt once they did fix the over pressure issue. So they said Christensen would replace it.

Well, this was over 2 years ago now, and I still have no replacement after paying $4,500 for what should have been a top notch rifle.

All I have gotten over the last couple of years is a bunch of BS lies from Corlane's telling me my rifle is on a skid and ready to ship from Christensen to their store. BS lies over and over again. They are just stringing me along, and I'm fed up with being lied to.

Anyone else here had this issue with Christensen Arms, or are they only trying to take my $4,500 and run away with it?

There is now a refine search filter for filtering search results by distance from your location.

***IMPORTANT NOTE*** The site is basing your location on what you entered for your postal code and city in your account settings. So if you have moved and not edited your account location in your account settings, then this feature won't be very useful to you. As it will create the search radius based on your old location.

If you need to update your location, just follow these easy steps:
1. Once logged into your account on gunpost.ca , hit the "My Account" button at the top right corner of the site (on mobile, you will have to hit the 3 orange horizontal lines to display that "My Account" button)
2. Then on the next page at the top hit the link that says "Edit My Account"
3. Scroll down to the location fields. Make sure that you not only update the part where you type your city and postal code. But also be sure that your region settings below that (which use a drop down menu) are also correct.

Those regional settings are important too. As they dictate which region your ads get listed in by the province and city selection searches that we have always used. One problem we see all of the time for example are people who write in say Mississauga for city, but then select "Toronto" for their city, instead of selecting "Peel Region" from the drop down menu. This kind of thing excludes you from people getting your ads in their search results when they select a search by city refine search filter.

So make sure ALL of your location info is correct so that your ads end up found by the people who want to buy from you, and so you can find ads close to you when you have something that you are looking to buy.

Thank you to all of you who took the time to write letters and put the pressure on the government until they finally caved and dropped this sweeping gun ban. It worked!

(Yes, I do know that they will try something new on another bill, and that we will have to continue to push back in the future, and there is much more work to be done to gain back what we lost already. But... this is a good start.)

Finally! GUNPOST now has Auction ads!

Any of the auction ads will have a link there so that you can apply to join if you don't already have auction permissions set on your account.

Bidders need 3 months on the site and 1 review that is 5-star to apply to join. Sellers need 6 months and 10 reviews to apply to join.

No longer do you have to scroll all the way to the bottom of the page on a mobile device to get to the the refine search filters. Just hit that orange icon on the left side there.

We have also added a Price filter, and a filter to find Left Handed guns.
